Leura Countess Grey — A Floral Earl Grey with a Blue Mountains Soul
Named for the charming village of Leura nestled in our own backyard, this is our love letter to the classic Earl Grey — reimagined with a lighter, more floral touch that feels entirely at home in the mountains.
As an ITMA Certified Tea Master, I've always been drawn to the elegance of a well-made Earl Grey. The Leura Countess Grey is my take on it: a premium Sri Lankan black tea base, lifted by the bright citrus of natural bergamot, then softened with wild-crafted blue cornflowers and organic rose petals. The result is something genuinely beautiful — aromatic, floral, and just a little bit special.
It's the kind of tea that makes an ordinary afternoon feel like a proper occasion.
Ingredients
Premium Sri Lankan Black Tea · Wild-Crafted Blue Cornflowers · Organic Rose Petals · Organic Lemon Peel · Organic Orange Peel · Natural Bergamot
Brewing Guide
- Water Temp: 95°C
- Steep Time: 2–3 minutes
- Quantity: One teaspoon per cup (heaped for extra strength)
- Serve: Enjoy black to appreciate the full floral bouquet, with a slice of lemon, or sweetened with a touch of honey. Milk works beautifully too if you prefer a creamier cup.
Make the Most of Every Leaf
Each serving is rich enough for at least two infusions. Store used leaves in the fridge between brews, increase the steep time slightly, and you'll be surprised how much flavour remains in that second pot.
